Elephant Club March

Newly elected Kansas GOP Chairman Mike Kuckelman will be our guest speaker for our March Elephant Club Luncheon.

Mike was born and was raised in Atchison, Kansas. He has been deeply involved with the Kansas Republican Party for many years. He served as treasurer of the Johnson County Republican Party for eight years. In 2016 he attended the Republican National Convention in Cleveland as a delegate. In 2018, he was recognized for his work with the Bad Cohen award as ‘the person who always goes above and beyond in campaigns for Republican candidates.”

Mike is a CPA and graduated from Washburn University School of Law. He has been practicing law for 28 years. Mike has represented the Kansas – Republican Party against the IRS and the Federal Election Commission. He has represented individual republican federal and state candidates in election related issues.

In Kansas, he has been involved in litigation addressing corruption in government. He practiced law in England from 2000-2007 and is one of the few Americans who is a member of the Bar of England and Wales. In 2012, he and some of his former partners formed the Kuckelman Torline and Kirkland law firm. Mike serves on many boards and volunteers his legal services for adoptions. Mike and his wife Jo have three adult children, two at K-State and one at KU Medical School. Mike is an avid hunter and enjoys car races and working on his farm in Atchison.
