Johnson County Republican Party has been very fortunate over the years to have willing and dedicated volunteers. These are the best of the best.

Grand Old Party Award,
Volunteer of the Year—
The Volunteer of the Year Award goes to that person who is always there, always smiling and always willing to do the little and big things that make the party successful. Tireless and true, the Volunteer of the Year is the first to ask, “what can I do,” and our party can’t function without them.

Precinct Committeeman and Committeewoman of the Year—This award recognizes the Precinct Committeeman and Committeewoman who exemplify the ideal grassroots worker who tirelessly identifies and informs voters, encourages candidates and brings others alongside of them to help elect Republican candidates.

Bart Cohen Award—This award is given to the person who always goes above and beyond in campaigns for Republican candidates. Bart Cohen was known for his benevolent spirit—not only helping candidates through his personal giving, but also by organizing many fundraisers and other events to benefit candidates. His efforts enabled candidates to focus on issues and voters, and not funding needs. Bart’s influence spanned many years and many campaigns.
