Mike Jones – Chairman

Mike Jones and his wife own B.W. Cline Co. which is a commercial construction company specializing in institutional construction such as schools, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and science labs—including the Johnson County Crime Lab, Olathe West High School and KU Med Center. He is also a Rating Board Member of Housing and Urban Development Advisory Committee for Johnson County.

Jones is a leader in the Johnson County Republican Party as Chairman of Northeast Johnson County Conservatives (NEJCC) and Third Congressional District and Kansas State Delegate. He was a 2016 Caucus site co-leader and a frequent campaign volunteer for candidates across the county. Jones also ran for Kansas House District 22 in 2014 where he met and discussed issues with voters and became very familiar with the issues in the county.

Jones and his wife Loni are 22-year residents of Overland Park. They have been married 25 years and have seven children—six sons and one daughter. He has been a Boy Scout Leader since 1996 and is an active church member.

Robyn Essex – Vice Chairman

Robyn Essex is currently the Director of Community Alliances for the Family Policy Alliance of Kansas. Previously she was the Third District Director for U.S. Senator Jerry Moran displaying her commitment to the country, community and the Republican party.

Essex previously worked for Sprint as a certified trainer and delivered courses to audiences all over the country. Her professional background is in training and development.

She was Vice Chair of the Olathe Republican Party in June 2015-April 2016 and Treasurer from 2013-2015. She is currently serving as Precinct Committeewoman, and is a Third District Delegate and Kansas State Delegate. She ran for the Olathe School Board in April 2015, and has been an active volunteer for various political campaigns. She is a graduate of the 2014 Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service class.

Essex graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. Her personal motto is, “Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success.” She has served as a mentor and Sunday School teacher to the teens in her church for 23 years. Essex has been married to Steve, a teacher and coach, for 26 years and they have 3 sons who are 20, 18, and 13 years old.

Diane Macheers – Secretary

Diane Macheers currently serves as an Account Supervisor for GlynnDevins where she manages the marketing efforts for and relationship with multiple Life Plan Communities across the United States. With more than 26 years of experience, Macheers’ expertise includes various marketing disciplines with an emphasis on strategy development, marketing research, electronic commerce and project management.

With a passion for service, Macheers is actively involved in both civic and community organizations. She is a board member and graduate of the 2016 Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service class. She currently serves as a board member for Northwest Johnson County Republicans PAC, Republican Precinct Committeewoman (five terms), Trustee for the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, member of the Board of Directors for The Friends of Cedar Crest and Awards Chairman for Cub Scout Pack 3651. She is a former Board Member and head of the Strategic Planning Committee for Growing Futures (formerly Head Start of Shawnee Mission) and member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan. She has volunteered on many different federal-, state- and city-level campaigns doing things from writing campaign literature to walking door-to-door, and she was a co-leader of a 2016 Caucus site. She also sings in her church choir.

Macheers graduated from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism with a Bachelor of Science in magazine. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Macheers is a lifelong Johnson County resident, and she and husband of 22 years, Charles, live in Shawnee, Kan., with their young son.

Craig Campbell – Treasurer

Craig Campbell is a video producer and owner of Video Soup LLC, a full-service video company that specializes in corporate videos. Campbell has over 25 years of production experience and knows what it takes to create and manage a successful company.

Campbell’s commitment to the community is evident as he is a four-term precinct committeeman, former Chair and board member of the Conservative Republicans of Southern JOCO (CRSJC), active in Olathe Republican Party, a 2016 state caucus volunteer and active campaign volunteer. He is also a past President and Treasurer for his homes association, former Moderator for church’s endowment committee and former Elder and current Deacon at his church. He is a devoted husband and father of two girls.
