Patricia Stoneking is the President of the Kansas State Rifle Association (KSRA) which is the state sanctioned affiliate of the NRA. She is an NRA Certified Training Counselor, Chief Range Safety Officer and Refuse To Be A Victim Program Instructor. Patricia is the owner of Target Master Shooting Academy, LLC and has trained with world renowned instructors such as Ken Hackathorn, John Farnam, Massad Ayoob and Chapman Academy.
Patricia is the Registered Lobbyist for the KSRA and has always been very active in legislative and political affairs. She has led large grassroots movements and testified before the Kansas Legislature over the past eight years to successfully pass multiple pieces of major legislation including Concealed Carry and multiple improvements each year, Emergency Powers Protection, The Second Amendment Protection Act, The Public Building Security Act and a Kansas Constitutional Amendment securing the Second Amendment just to name a few. She also serves on the Kansas Attorney General’s Advisory Council for Concealed Carry issues.
Patricia was honored with the NRA Marion P. Hammer Woman of Distinction Award in 2008, which is a national award that recognizes exceptional contributions to the preservation of the Second Amendment and the shooting sports through education, advocacy, volunteerism and legislative activism. In 2010 she was honored by the KSRA with the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award for her achievements to pass pro Second Amendment legislation, her work to promote conservative pro-Second Amendment candidates for political office and promotion of the shooting sports in addition to effecting major record breaking growth of the KSRA. She is also the founder of the KSRA PAC (Political Action Committee).
Patricia resides with her husband of 24 years in Bonner Springs, KS not far from where she was raised in Shawnee, KS. She is a Patron Life member of the NRA, Life Member of the CCRKBA, a member of the Second Amendment Foundation, GOA and Safari Club International as well as a Life Member of the KSRA. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Wyandotte County Republican Party.
Patricia is passionately dedicated to the preservation of the constitution and Second Amendment. She spends any spare time she has studying the history of America and the principles for which the Founding Fathers dedicated their lives or shooting for fun. Her favorite shooting sports are Action Shooting with her favorite 1911 Colt Gold Cup Trophy Guns, long range precision shooting with her Colt AR-15 and Sporting Clays with her 12 gauge Browning Citori Shotgun.
She is passionate about making people understand our very freedom is at stake if we cannot lawfully exercise the right to keep and bear arms and always loves the opportunity to educate and inform others on the issue.
